Police State: Agent Provocateur at anti-war protest
Who was to blame for violence at anti-war protest?
‘The premeditated attack on a peace demonstration by the police marks a further deterioration in the civil liberties of all people in Britain. We demand a full public investigation into the events of June 15th.’
Andrew Murray – Chair of Stop the War Coalition.

This is not a new tactic by HM Government. The Poll Tax Riot of 1990 was orchestrated by the Met Police. There tactics were uncovered by someone who pieced together TV footage along with the films made by demonstrators on their camcorders – then an emerging technology. By putting all the disparate footage into the correct time line the story became clear.
There is something to be said in favour of videoing demonstrations as it shows who did what but the down side is that if things do kick off the police will demand all footage so they can prosecute.
I’m not sure if the state honed there tactics during the Miners Strike of 83 – 84.
Still they are doing nothing that Lenin and Trotsky didn’t do in the run up the murder of the Krondstat Garrison that cemented Bolshevik rule and led the deaths of over 40 million people as Stalin carried on Party policy.
